The Annual Houston Humanitarian Awards honors an individual or individuals for their efforts to make the City of Houston a better place to live by action, philanthropy, volunteerism or involvement.
Recognized by the city of Houston and Mayor Sylvester Turner, the humanitarian awards elegant black-tie gala honors ten individuals who have given of themselves unselfishly. The ten final honoree selections are chosen by an advisory board of past recipients, selected city council members, and participating sponsors.
