Charlotte’s First Autism Teen Center, Coming in 2026

In a city known for growth and innovation, one local organization is preparing to make a lasting impact on Charlotte’s neurodiverse community.
Success On The Spectrum (SOS) is proud to announce an exciting expansion of services — the creation of the first community Autism Teen Center in Charlotte, NC. Set to open in 2026, this new space will be dedicated to inclusion, empowerment, and real-world growth.

Success On The Spectrum is a national autism therapy franchise that provides evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for
children with autism. Each location is locally owned and operated, built around a mission to promote independence, teach life skills, and help
families thrive. SOS is recognized nationally for its family-centered approach — one that not only supports children with autism, but also focuses on
community education, inclusion, and lifelong development.

The upcoming SOS Autism Teen Center in Central Charlotte will take that mission one step further, serving an age group that often finds itself without
adequate resources. The center is designed to help teens and young adults practice independence, build social connections, and develop the
confidence needed to transition into adulthood.

Inside, the facility will include a mock restaurant where participants can learn and practice social, dining, and dating skills in a supportive, realistic
environment. A social lounge will feature ping pong, chess, and video games — creating natural opportunities for conversation and friendship.
Planned game nights, including trivia and Dungeons & Dragons, will help foster teamwork, creativity, and connection.

The Teen Center’s focus will also extend to emotional and creative development. Scheduled yoga and mindfulness classes will support emotional
regulation and self-awareness, while art and creative workshops will encourage self-expression and confidence.

Rachel Hill, CEO of Success On The Spectrum – Central Charlotte, describes the inspiration behind the new venture:
“We see so many families thriving with early intervention services, but once their children become teenagers, the support options become scarce.
This Teen Center is our way of continuing that journey, empowering teens to grow, connect, and build confidence in a safe and inclusive
environment.”

Hill’s words capture the heart of the project — the determination to fill a gap in services for teens on the spectrum and create a place where they
can prepare for the next stage of life.

As Charlotte continues to grow, so too does its commitment to inclusion. The forthcoming SOS Teen Center is more than a new facility — it’s a
promise to neurodiverse families that their children’s growth, joy, and potential matter at every stage. When doors open in 2026, they’ll open to a
brighter, more inclusive future for all.
