This Autism Awareness Month, Success On The Spectrum (SOS) Richmond is proud to share an exciting milestone: we are being formally recognized by the Mayor of Richmond, Becky Haas, with an official Autism Awareness Month Proclamation!
This prestigious honor celebrates SOS Richmond’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children on the autism spectrum, and for supporting their families every step of the way. The proclamation, presented personally by Mayor Haas, highlights the impact that our center has made in the local community—not only as a therapy provider but as a source of hope, inclusion, and empowerment.
At SOS Richmond, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential. Through evidence-based ABA therapy, parent support, and community outreach, we work daily to break down barriers, educate others, and create a more inclusive future for individuals with autism.
We are deeply honored by this recognition and are grateful to Mayor Haas and the City of Richmond for standing with us during Autism Awareness Month. This proclamation affirms that the work we do matters—and motivates us to continue creating positive change for families across the region.
Stay tuned for photos and highlights from the event—and thank you to all the staff, families, and supporters who make our mission possible!
