Why Families Trust Us
A Transparent and Family-Centered Approach
Choosing an autism therapy provider is one of the most important decisions a family can make. At SOS Central Charlotte, we offer real-time camera access in every therapy room, allowing parents to observe sessions and stay connected with their child’s progress.
We believe in open communication and collaboration because strong partnerships between families and therapists lead to the best outcomes.

Our team is deeply committed to the well-being of every child and family we serve. We understand the unique needs of the Charlotte community and strive to be more than a therapy provider—we aim to be a trusted partner on your family’s journey.
Our center provides a safe, inclusive, and sensory-friendly environment tailored for neurodiverse children. Every program is built on evidence-based practices, delivered by caring professionals who help children grow, communicate, and thrive.
Families are welcomed with respect, empathy, and understanding. From your first visit, we build lasting relationships that honor your child’s strengths and your family’s goals.
What We Offer
ABA Therapy
Every child begins with a comprehensive assessment conducted by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your BCBA develops a customized treatment plan that focuses on behavior improvement, communication, social skills, and daily living skills.
Social Skills Development
Children learn how to make friends, take turns, express emotions, and read social cues through fun, structured group activities.
Parent Coaching and Support
Parents play an essential role in the therapy process. We provide ongoing training and one-on-one coaching so you can confidently reinforce ABA strategies at home.
School Readiness Programs
Our mock classroom setting prepares children for academic success by teaching classroom behavior, attention-building, and transition skills in a supportive environment.
Real-World Integration
Therapy extends beyond our walls through supervised community field trips such as parks, stores, and libraries, helping children practice real-life skills in safe, structured settings.
Insurance and Accessibility
We are proud to be in-network with most major insurance companies, including Medicaid. Our administrative team will help you navigate the insurance process and ensure a smooth start to therapy.
We also partner with local organizations that assist families with autism diagnosis, grants, and financial resources to make therapy more accessible. If you’re unsure where to begin, our team will guide you every step of the way.
Exceptional Staff
Our team is hand-selected for their expertise, passion, and dedication to helping children succeed. With low staff turnover and strong leadership, we maintain consistency and build lasting relationships with the children and families we serve.
Our professional team includes:
- Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) who design and oversee all programs
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who provide one-on-one ABA therapy
- Staff trained in CPR, Safety-Care, and autism-specific best practices
We invest in continuous staff development and maintain high standards for excellence. Weekly team meetings and ongoing supervision ensure your child’s progress stays on track.

She keeps the day running smoothly, coordinating schedules, welcoming new families, planning events, and handling everything from insurance questions to staff onboarding.
Bella’s heart for working with children with unique needs began when she nannied for a big, beautiful family of thirteen, many of whom were adopted or in foster care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Bella began her ABA journey as a direct care RBT and celebrated a special milestone when her first client graduated from services. From there, she stepped into a mentorship role, training future RBTs across the Charlotte-Metro area. Her mission has always been to uplift new professionals and ensure that every child receives compassionate, high-quality care.
When Bella is not at the center, she loves spending time with her playful four-year-old nephew, taking walks with her dog, grabbing coffee with friends, and diving into her favorite podcasts.
