Community Outreach / Events

Success On The Spectrum is known for its activism and community involvement.

SOS’s Community Outreach program hosts numerous sensory friendly events for families affected by Autism.

The primary purpose of hosting sensory-friendly events is to create a safe and inclusive space for children with autism. These events aim to provide a judgement-free environment where individuals on the autism spectrum and their families can feel accepted, understood, and supported.

As a secondary purpose, we aim to raise awarenessand encourage the broader community to embrace and support individuals with autism and their families.

Thirdly, these events are not just for the kids… By organizing autism events, we strive to foster a sense of belonging and alleviate the discomfort that parents may experience in public settings. We hope to give parents the ability to ENJOY taking their children out to have fun. We hope to improve the “parent experience”.
